Around Korea in 16 Days

written on Thursday, August 29, 2013 @ 1:13 PM ♥

Back from our 16 days trip around South Korea and I'm still reeling from the many unforgettable moments when we were there. It's my second time in Korea and I'm still very in love with the place. The culture, their language, the people and... SHOPPING! There's still so many stones left unturned and places to discover. Aboslutely cannot wait till my next visit!

Our trip was fraught with many difficulties because it's extremely tedious and difficult to do our research prior the trip. Information like exact bus timings and duration, location details and names are available online but in Korean. Hence, I decided to document our trip in several blogposts in case I ever need such information again or should anyone be interested in going to the places that we visited during our time there! :)

Here are the places we covered:

Seoul > Inje > Sokcho (Seoraksan) > Andong > Gyeongju > Busan > Jeju > Yeosu > Joseong > Suncheon > Seoul

As you can see, we mainly covered the corners of Korea and skipped the middle parts hahaha. Somehow when we were planning for the trip, we marked down the areas and activities that we would want to visit and try, and it just happened that those places that we want to go are all at the corners of Korea.

For the first 5 days we stayed in Seoul and went to typical touristy places that most people go to when they are in Korea like Nami Island, DMZ, Dongdaemun, Garosil, Carribean Bay and Everland.

I'll be covering our trip in detail in the next few entries!
